Is price the most important thing to you when selecting your entertainment?

When hiring a DJ, consider the fact that the company or individual you select will providing the entertainment for your event for 4-6 hours. They will determine how long your guests will stay, how much fun they have and whether your evening will be a memorable one or not. At the end of the night and years down the road, your guests may not remember what they had for supper, or what the wedding cake looked like, but they will certainly remember whether or not they had a good time at your reception. With that in mind, here are some questions you should ask us, or any other DJ or entertainment company.

1. How long have you been in business?
2. Do you use CD’s or MP3’s and is your music AVLA licensed?
3. Do you have liability insurance?
4. Who will be the DJ for my event and how much experience do they have?
5. Do your DJs own their own equipment or is it supplied by the company you hire?
6. What genres of music do you have? Do you have the current top hits? Will you have the music to meet my guests' requests?
7. Do you have professional quality, commercial grade DJ equipment?
8. Do you have special effects and lighting?
9. How will the DJ be dressed for the event?
10. Can we have input on how things are done?
11. Do you take requests?
12. Do you supply back up equipment and/or a DJ in case in of emergency?
13. When will you be setting up the equipment?
14. Do you have any references or testimonials?
